Dr. Holson knew from an early age that she wanted to become a veterinarian—she was already sharing that dream with her parents in kindergarten. Raised in South Carolina, she began gaining hands-on experience early, working as a kennel assistant and veterinary technician throughout her school years.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from Furman University before continuing on to the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, where she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.
Dr. Holson has a special interest in dermatology, behavior and preventative care. She’s especially passionate about client education and believes that strong communication helps build lasting, meaningful bonds between pets and their families. She is also an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Holson enjoys running, reading, and spending quality time with her family and friends. At home, she’s kept on her toes by her two mischievous cats, Teddy and Romeo.
