John K. Neiland, D.V.M.
Dr. Neiland is the owner and founder of Jones Bridge Animal Hospital. He leads a remarkable team of four doctors who are dedicated to the care and well being of your pet. Dr. Neiland was born and grew up in Huntsville, Alabama and attended Auburn University’s school of veterinary medicine. After graduation in 1988 he moved to the Atlanta area and worked for practices in Dunwoody and Marietta prior to opening Jones Bridge in 1992. Dr. Neiland lives in Johns Creek with his wife Michele and their two children Hayes and Claire. He has been a member of the North Atlanta church of Christ since 1988 and serves as deacon with the recovery ministry. The Neiland family enjoys animals together raising Golden Retrievers and breeding and milking Nigerian Dwarf goats! Come by for entertainment during kidding season and enjoy some goat cheese. In addition to Gracie and the goats the Neilands have two cats, Timmy and Joe and bunny Lola. Dr. Neiland enjoys all aspects of general practice and has done special training in echocardiography and cardiology.

Whadzen A. Carrasquillo, D.V.M.
Dr. Carrasquillo grew up in Puerto Rico, and after High School, attended Kansas State University to work on his Animal Science degree. After his Bachelors degree in 1991, he came down to the University of Georgia School of Veterinary Medicine, where he earned his DVM degree in 1996. He and his wife loved Atlanta, so they settled down in the Johns Creek area, where they added a dog, a cat and 2 kids. "Dr.C" has been at the Jones Bridge Animal Hospital ever since. He enjoys Internal Medicine, Dermatology, Oncology and Ultrasound. Recently he has enjoyed volunteering for Animal Balance, working on high volume spay and neuter clinics in the Dominican Republic. Dr. Carrasquillo also serves in the advisory board of a veterinary pharmaceutical company. On his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, travel, eating out and hiking/camping trips. |

Katie Harris, D.V.M.
Dr. Harris earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University's School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. She received her Bachelor's degree in Animal Science at Cornell University in 2004. Her Personal interests include Ophthalmology, internal medicine and feline medicine. Dr. Harris lives in Alpharetta with her husband, Eric, their dog Nellie, two orange tabby cats, and a rabbit. In her free time, she enjoys running, reading and spending quality time with her pets. |
